Our customer is a family-owned company based in Harelbeke, Belgium, specializing in the design and construction of industrial energy plants. Since 1912, they’ve been turning biomass and industrial waste into clean energy, helping industries worldwide reduce their reliance on fossil fuels.
Their innovative solutions, including biomass boilers and recovered solid fuel (RSF) technology, support industries like agriculture, food processing, and wood production. They transform materials such as agricultural residues, recycled wood, and non-recyclable waste into useful energy sources like hot water, steam, and electricity. With operations around the world, they are known for our sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions, including CO₂ capture for reuse.
As a Customer Service Manager, you’ll be the primary point of contact for customers after their energy solutions are up and running. Your goal? To ensure long-term satisfaction by offering tailored services that enhance the lifecycle of their installations.
What You’ll Do
- Provide customized solutions for maintenance and system upgrades.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and maintenance planning.
- Manage contracts, inspections, and preventive maintenance to maximize system longevity.
- Tackle technical challenges with the support of an experienced internal team.
- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of spare parts.
What You Bring
- A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in customer service, account management, or after-sales support.
- A strong sense of responsibility, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for building lasting relationships.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (French or Spanish is a plus).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for short business trips.
