Job position: IT Support Agent

Tasks

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide timely technical support to end-users and network users.
• Handle technical issues related to desktops and portable devices.
• Troubleshoot non-complex hardware and software problems.
• Assist with hardware needs, including installing new PCs, and ordering or replacing accessories.
• Perform remote installations and troubleshooting.
• Assist in selecting and evaluating hardware and software.

Authorization and Access Management:

• Manage authorization requests and access controls.

System Updates and Application Support:

• Provide support for Windows and Mac updates and applications.
• Apply knowledge of information systems to assist users with technical issues.

Analysis, Testing, and Reporting:

• Analyze, test, and report on technical issues and solutions.
• Escalating incidents and complex hardware and software problems
• Communicating within departments

Requirements

• Diploma of Secondary Education
• Experience in IT support or IT educational background will be considered an advantage
• High proficiency in Dutch/Flemish + French + English (B2)
• PC skills (experience with working with computer systems)
• Good writing skills
• Very good knowledge of Windows and Office 365 is an advantage
• Persuasiveness – to convince others, while using clear explanations and well-formed arguments
• Empathy - Understands another person’s circumstances, point of view, thoughts, and feelings.
• Self-confidence - Confidence in own powers and abilities.
