For our client we are looking for an Application Manager. Together with your colleagues, you will manage the assets within the Supply Chain domain.

For our client we are looking for an Application Manager. Together with your colleagues, you will manage the assets within the Supply Chain domain. You ensure that the systems work smoothly and you coordinate all components of the IT solutions.

Tasks

  • You support and supervise the introduction of new applications or the integration of applications with existing packages.
  • You take care of the life cycle management of these applications.
  • You regularly consult with colleagues and partners: the service delivery manager, developers, asset owners, analysts, suppliers.
  • You are the first point of contact for major incidents. You mobilise your colleagues to get the systems up and running as quickly as possible.
  • You decide in consultation with your fellow AM's who will take care of which applications and assets, and you can count on the necessary support and guidance.

Deliverables

  • Responsible that all the documentation for a service is delivered
  • Is accountable for the cohesion of the entire solution (application components, platform(s) and application infrastructure) that contributes to the ICT service
  • Defines the SLEs with the Partner and defines KPI’s to measure the quality of the service
  • Reports to the Service Delivery Manager – Run the results of the KPI’s and the impact on the SLE
  • Ensures that the SLEs defined with the Partners are translated into the right expectations (OLEs) for the various elements that make up the solution (application components, platform(s) and application infrastructure).
  • Is responsible that the ICT service remains compliant with the architectural choices (especially in terms of business architecture and in line with the agreed SLEs)
  • Ensures that the ICT service continuity management plans are available for the Service Delivery Manager – Run (roadmap)
  • Reports on the ICT service performance and compares the result with the SLEs defined with the Service Delivery Manager
  • Creates and maintains the service operating model for the ICT service based on the service operating model template provided by the Service Responsible
  • Makes sure that the ICT service description in the service catalog is up-to-date
  • Acts as escalation point in case of issues between functional/technical service delivery roles
  • Informs and communicates with the Service Delivery Manager - Run in case of major incidents

Profile

  • You'll have 5+ years experience as an application manager
  • Excellent knowledge of life cycle management
  • Knowledge Supply Chain is a plus
  • You have a background in IT and Retail and you keep abreast of the latest developments in your field.
  • Language skills: Dutch & English necessary
  • Solution Focused – Problem? Not a problem for you, but a challenge for which you like to roll up your sleeves! You keep a cool head and think of the best and fastest solution.
  • Making decisions – You take responsibility with full confidence and dare to make decisions, even if the decision is not obvious.
  • Networking – You easily make contact with people you don't know yet and you build lasting relationships with your internal partners and clients.
  • Clear communication – You translate your insights and convey your vision with the necessary persuasiveness.

Mandatory requirements

  • Min. 5 year experience in relevant domain
  • Dutch and English
  • This is a freelance position. We are looking for freelancers that are able to start ASAP
