Technical Lead SAP BW

Tasks objectives

  • Analyze reporting requirements, source environments, and validate technical BW design
  • Coordinate technical activities between different project teams
  • Validate deliverables from the project teams according to the reporting requirements
  • Validate delivered BW system architecture to ensure best practices (delta loads, performance,…)
  • Facilitate the communication between project teams and with business stakeholders

 Tasks steps

  • Understand the business processes and reporting needs paying particular attention to the technical details (snapshots, time dependencies, data relationships, data dependencies)
  • Identify in the source environments the available data with the help of implementation partners
  • Validate the BW design proposed by the project teams to ensure they match the requirements and BW best practices in terms of architecture, performance, and maintainability
  • Test the BEX queries delivered by the implementation partners in terms of completeness and correctness
  • Ensure the authorization requirements are met

  • Support the SAP4I MR reporting stream

Summary of mandatory requirements

  • More than 8 years of relevant experience in domain
  • Languages: English MANDATORY 
  • Start: This is a freelance position. We are looking for freelancers that are able to start 01/08/2021


Brussels, Belgium (remote work at this stage is accepted but on-site work is mandatory when the customer requires it)
