For an exciting new assignment we are looking for a remote freelance Windows COTS (WAST) Consultant

Skills

  • Proficient English communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the following technologies:
  • MS Skype for Business Server 2015
  • MS Teams
  • Migration experience from MS Skype for Business to MS Teams
  • Audiocodes Mediant gateways
  • Audiocodes OVOC
  • Anywhere 365 (on-premise / cloud)
  • Migration experience from Anywhere 365 on-premise to Anywhere 365 cloud
  • Audiocodes SmartTap
  • Polycom Resource Manager
  • Polycom VVX and CCX hardware models
  • Medium- or high level -knowledge as administrator O365, Azure, MS TEAMs, Cloud
  • PowerShell
  • Medium or high-level knowledge as administrator of any further Microsoft Server Application

Experience

  • MS Skype for Business 2015 and MS Teams support, administration and maintenance
  • Migration activities from MS Skype for Business 2015 to MS Teams (including VoIP)
  • Audiocodes Mediant gateway support, administration and maintenance
  • Anywhere 365 migration activities from on-premise to cloud in relation to a Skype for Business on-premise migration to MS Teams
  • Polycom IP telephone support, administration and maintenance via Polycom Resource Manager
  • Reviewing the status of the Windows Applications monitoring platform (alarms, thresholds and associated procedures)
  • Setting-up, validating and scheduling of housekeeping activities to administer Windows Applications
  • Administering Windows Applications according to application demands
  • Reviewing the status of Windows Application software in order to keep those updated according requirements and within support contracts
  • Reviewing the status of patching on existing Windows Apps infrastructure and evaluate whether or not to apply, considering the associated risks
  • Ability to perform changes in a Windows Application including decommissioning, modifications of internal parameters, log files locations, etc.
  • Supporting and dealing with tickets related to common desktop Applications (MS Office, Edge, Adobe Acrobat Reader, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Experience administering CMS Documentum (CMS 1.13, Documentum 6.7) or above
  • Office 365 Administration (Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Exchange)
  • Polycom Resource Manager
  • Experience administering the JIRA front-end
  • Experience administering CCTV
  • MDM (Intune)
  • Exchange 2010/2016/Online
  • SharePoint 2019/Online

Summary of mandatory requirements

  • Languages: Fluent in English 
  • Start: This is a freelance position. We are looking for freelancers that are able to start ASAP.
  • Duration:  6 months with possible extension
