Technical Writer

We are looking for an experienced technical writer to start a great new assignement in brussels on short notice

Requirements 

  • Excellent English & French language;
  • Experience with documentation workplace and end used
  • Excellent technical writing skills;
  • Excellent editing skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to apply standards and to present a consistent tone of voice to content sourced from technical people in a multi-lingual environment;
  • Ability to analyze and structure information;
  • Flexibility;
  • Familiar with working in a Java development environment;
  • Good team player;
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to manage the review process;
  • Strong Word skills (2016) including templates; and
  • Experience of SharePoint.
  • Training skills
  • Ability to create, assimilate and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.
  • Ability to create documentation that is accurate, complete, unambiguous, and as concise as possible. Solid research, analysis and writing skills.
  • Additional skills in:
    • Illustration
    • Typography
    • Translation management
    • Website design or management
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification
  • Communication and interpersonal skills

Summary of mandatory requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in domain
Languages: English + French
Start: This is a freelance position. We are looking for freelancers that are able to start  ASAP .
Duration: 31/12/2021 (+ possible extension)    

Location

Brussels (Belgium) - on-site work
